JOIN THE HIGH SHERIFF’S BAND OF MERRY VOLUNTEERS
If you would like to join the High Sheriff’s gang of merry volunteers to tackle one-
In a twist on tales of old, this year’s High Sheriff of Dyfed, David Pryse Lloyd, put together a band of merry volunteers to tackle community projects.
The projects are anything from painting a village hall to fixing a roof. That means they need volunteers willing to paint, make tea, garden, drive ...
Could you be one of them?
Perhaps you’re a member of a group like Rotary or the WI. Why not register en masse and tackle a project together?
It isn’t all physical. We’ve already had a request for a structural surveyor to check whether a proposed community redevelopment is feasible. If you can volunteer to spend perhaps a day, maybe two, giving specialist advice for a community group, please contact Maureen!
Go M.A.D and Make A Difference!
It isn’t easy to give chunks of money in tough economic times, but businesses can give goods, services, manpower and equipment.
If your company could help make community projects happen, please contact us and become a sponsor.
Pete and Sheila Duffill, committee members for Yr Hen Ysgol in Dinas Cross, measure up for exterior painting, with High Sheriff volunteer Brian Murray. We’ve got the paint but we need painters! Can you help?
Llangwm artist Ian Jacobs volunteered his talents and designed our brilliant logo.
